Placements on this site
Four ways to be on these pages, each labelled as paid where the reader sees it. The reference pages that rank do so because they are specific; a placement that makes one less specific is declined.
Rates
| Placement | What you get | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Sponsored article | An article of 800 words or more on an accepted topic, in the site's format, labelled sponsored at the top and bottom, links rel=sponsored by default, kept indefinitely. Written by you and edited here, or written here from your brief for $100 more. | $250 per article |
| Link in an existing reference page | One contextual link placed in a relevant crypto-asset, concept or application page where it helps the reader, with a sponsored disclosure line on that page. Not on the expired-projects or speaker profiles, which stay editorial. | $200 per link |
| Featured event listing | Your conference placed at the top of its month in the events directory and on the home page's calendar for 60 days, labelled sponsored. The listing itself is free and stays after the placement ends. | $150 per event, 60 days |
| Event page sponsorship | A named sponsor block on one event page for the run-up to the event (tickets, side event, or a product relevant to attendees), labelled sponsored. | $150 per event page |
Three or more placements in one order: 15 percent off the total. Invoiced in USD; payment before publication.
Nothing is placed below $150. The rate is the rate; there is no price list for agencies and another for everyone else.
What this site is, for a buyer
A directory of blockchain and crypto conferences with dates, venues and organisers read from the organisers' own pages, and a reference library of about two hundred pages: profiles of crypto assets, a record of projects that ended (Centra Tech, BitConnect, Mt. Gox, QuadrigaCX and others), speaker profiles, and concept pages on consensus, mining, layer 2, governance and cold storage. The pages that draw readers are the entity pages, the ones that answer "what was this project and what happened to it". Placements that fit that reader are the ones that work.
The summit itself is a brand, not a running conference; this site does not sell tickets and has no stage to offer. What it offers is pages that are read for their facts, and the events directory that people reach when they are deciding where to go next.
Accepted topics
- Blockchain infrastructure, nodes, indexing and analytics tools
- Exchanges, custody and wallet software that name their regulator or licence
- Developer tooling, audits and security services
- Conferences, hackathons and side events with a published date and venue
- Compliance, tax and legal services for crypto businesses
- Education, research and data products
Never accepted
- Casino, gambling, betting or prediction-market promotions
- Adult content of any kind
- CBD, cannabis and supplements
- Payday loans, credit repair, forex signals, copy-trading
- Token launches, presales, airdrops, staking pools or anything promising a return
- Anything the site's expired-projects pages document as a pattern
That list does not change at any price; the expired-projects pages on this site document what those categories did to their readers.
How a placement is labelled
Sponsored articles carry a disclosure at the top and the bottom naming the sponsor, and every outbound link in them is rel="sponsored" unless a specific link is agreed otherwise. A link placed in an
existing page adds a one-line disclosure to that page. Featured event listings and event-page sponsorships carry a "sponsored" label in the listing row and on the page. Nothing paid is presented as editorial,
and the editorial policy says the same thing from the reader's side.
What you get, in writing
- The URL of the placement and the date it went live.
- A screenshot of the labelled placement.
- The page's own facts on request: when it was published, when it was last updated, and its section.
To order
Send the placement, the target URL and, for an article, the topic to the contact address, which is published on this site once its mail is set up (it is not yet). Replies go out within two working days, and a declined order is declined with the reason.
