What the byline on these pages means, where the facts come from, and what happens when one is wrong.

The byline

Pages are signed "LAB Blockchain Summit editorial". That is a small editorial group, not a named expert and not an invented persona; no page on this site carries a made-up author, a stock headshot or a fictional biography. The older articles were written by the summit's content team between 2024 and 2026 and are kept as published, with their original dates. New pages are written by the same editorial group and dated when they go up.

What the site is now

LAB Blockchain Summit is not currently running a conference. This site is the brand's directory of blockchain and crypto events and its reference library. Pages that describe the summit as a conference are historical. The about page and the mission page are kept as they were written; the footer on every page says where things stand today.

Sources

Event listings are built from the organiser's own page and nothing else: the dates, venue, city and organiser on a listing are what that page said on the date shown as "last verified", and the page is linked. The method is on how listings are verified. Reference pages on assets, projects and people draw on public records, court filings, regulator notices, the projects' own published material and reporting; where a page is updated with new sourced material after migration, the update date on the page moves and the sources are named in the text.

Corrections

A factual error is corrected on the page as soon as it is confirmed, and the update date on the page changes. Send the URL and the correction to the contact address, which is published on this site once its mail is set up (it is not yet); a source that can be checked gets a faster answer. Organisers asking for a change to their listing are treated the same way: the change is made when their own page shows it.

Paid content

Sponsored articles, paid links and featured listings exist and are labelled where the reader sees them, as described on the partnerships page. A paid placement never changes a fact on an editorial page, and the expired-projects record and the speaker profiles take no paid content at all. If something on this site is paid for, it says so next to it.
